Mustangs have not had reliability/quality issues for a while now.
As for the GR-1...will they make it? I'm pessimistic...at least not in a form close to that one...Ford putting out a 6.4l V-10 is about as likely as us seeing the equivalent of an AWD Focus RS over here anytime soon, lol...although if they do, it will still cost a mint. I'd *love* to see them do it though...very nice :)
My money goes on the general public seeing something *very* close to the Shelby as it's already based upon an existing platform, could easily be groomed to replace the SVT Cobra, and would be reasonably priced...but god knows Ford always s us over in the performance department vs. the competition, so they might "detune" it a bit first :(
still...I think they've done an amazing job on the new Mustang design and Shelby's taken it a step further...I love it :) |

C5's first MY was '97. '97-04. Still the best looking 'Vette if you ask me.
Of course the C6 is a slightly better car... C5 Z05 power stock in a C6, and the C6 Z06 is 500 ponies. The fixed headlights are still ugly as sin though. |
