I saw Velvet Revolver at the Bell Centre last night and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.
I was literally standing 3 meters from Slash, and when he did his crazy solos, best place to be. Scott Weiland rocks the place live too daaaamn.
Never seen the place that much on fire, always saw the bell centre as a venue for mellow concerts. Well yesterday let's just say, it was more than alive.
They played three Guns N' Roses songs, and two Stone Temple Pilots songs as well as most of their cd. Such a long and beautiful set, when they ended at 11:30 with 'Slither', the crowd just wanted more but that was the end.
Not really the place to post, but I've always loved Rock and Roll, and since Guns n' Roses isn't still around, well not really but close enough. I had to redeem myself and go watch VR.
One of the things I had to do was go to a real 80's rock and roll show, well that's done now !:)

Guns 'n roses are still around
They are still trying to put the finishing touch to their lattest cd
But they've been doing that for the last 2 years so ....
Can't wait to hear what they'lll sound like after so many years !
Can't wait to see if Axel is still a in drug addict !!

ya it was an insane concert !!!!
And ya, Guns N' Roses which only has Axel as one of the starting members is still around, and they were supposed to come out with their cd 'Chinese Democracy' so long ago !:S

| ah i never really liked velvet revolver all that much i guess i was expecting some apetite for destruction style material when i heard they formed. but its hard to start another band when you use to be in guns and roses or without axl since it almost the entire band .the bar is just too high as for guns and roses im looking forward to a reunion tour in like 2 years but who knows by then they might have broken and gotten back toghther like 8 times already |
