That uber-boat that was running TO / Rochester went broke in the summer.
About 3 weeks ago the Austrailian manufacturer of the boat gave the company $30 million US to resume service this summer and Canada guaranteed construction of a proper port terminal (which would cut costs significantly).
Something like 150 minutes to each way, $60 return. |

The city of Rochester actually ended up buying it at auction. Turns out the thing needs another $2 million in maintenance before it's ship-shape though.
