| n00b question. is there any other reason of not mass producing vinyls like CDs, apart from increasing their rarity and therefore their price ? |

But now a days you do get vinyl writers don't you ? where you play from a laptop but the track gets recorded on the vinly and you actually get the feel of mixing on turntables. |

its for sale, very easy to get. at least, if im right. im referring to this release;
http://www.discogs.com/release/469124
http://www.discogs.com/release/227743
http://www.discogs.com/release/571753
(perhaps there are more then these?)
especially the last one is easy (and cheap) to get on ebay nowadays. i hope the remix of pvd on these releases is the same as the one you're referring too ...
