n00b question. is there any other reason of not mass producing vinyls like CDs, apart from increasing their rarity and therefore their price ?

But now a days you do get vinyl writers don't you ? where you play from a laptop but the track gets recorded on the vinly and you actually get the feel of mixing on turntables.

Only Paul and Piet Blank have copies as far as i know.

some are, but some are hard to get even on mp3. though i never tried to find most of the records from the RareRecords list on mp3, i know some are hard to get ...
