Depends on the drug... drugs like cocaine and meth actually increase your reation time and improve your perception, therefore, you should be, in theory, a better driver. The USTA (United States Trucking Association) commissioned a study on cocaine use and driving years back. The results of that study were that people actually drove better if using moderate amounts of cocaine. I don't believe anyone ever duplicated the study so it cannot be considered scientifically true or scholastically credible but it is an interesting question. |

I still like it, dont' get me wrong, it's just that the hights aren't the same anymore. I get very anxious, jittery, unfocused, and it's had a major impact on my sober times as well. Can't sleep well, can't focus, gotten way too lazy.
And by the time I actually get to driving back, I should be winding down from the influence. I've done it before, and I know myself. Not to imply that it's safe, but both of them are a risk, and I know which instance keeps me more focused. The burnout after drinking and blazing doesn't. |

My guess is that MDMA would have a similar effect so long as the visuals were either non existant or extremely mild. I've never had a problem.... not that I would ever participate in such activity. |
