I've been hearing it for the past ten years. Guess what: it doesn't exist. All music claimed to be under its particular umbrella is really just a strain of either Epic Trance, Anthem Trance, Hard Acid Trance or NRG. And sometimes even Dutch Trance.

It's just the name of a cd compilation/mix series. That's it.

DJ Tranz, that list is false. Electric Blue is by Oliver Lieb, and everything else is either a co-production or a collaberation with someone else, and not held to issue directly from Mars & Mystre themselves (and not indicative in any which way to be Cybertrance). In fact, the only record I've ever seen that is a bonafied Mars & Mystre tune that got any play anywhere is Save the Rave / Changing the Haight, and it's an NRG/Acid record.

That list is not only taken directly from Discogs.com but I happen to own most of those records.

Info on Electric Blue by Mars & Mystre:

taken from Discogs, http://www.discogs.com/release/19640

"Written by Mars & Mystere. Produced by Oliver Lieb. Recorded in Frankfurt Germany. Published by Frequency 8 Music"

Regardless of the Mars & Mystre issue, "cyber trance" is still not a genre and none of you have attempted to refute his points.

Psiweaver
what points that because he says so cyber trance isn't a genre. Thats such a deep and insightful point there. The fact of the matter is that all of the poeple that DJ Tranz listed produce cyber trance and if you were to come into Skills DJ workshop they have a section called Cyber Trance which has many other simliar tracks.

Show me some audio samples of cyber trance and we'll see.
