Review: Edge 102 @ Republik

I have to say, a really fun time. Total change of pace to go to a club and hear ROCK, as opposed to the constant barrage of EDM over the past decade. Side room had loads of retro tunes, lots of modern rock in the main room- even caught some ska in there. Fun, down to earth crowd, no problems, cute boys and girls out to have a good time. They seem to like the club- a great choice over places like the Fun Haus & Savage Garden. I think this night will do really well there.
Met cap there tonight. Turns out Rocco was there too, but we missed each other somehow. |

yea it was tons and tons of fun... dif. a new change and i had tons of fun. Really loved the big room, spend most of the time there. |

Yup... I had lots of fun. The retro/alternative music attracts the right kind of crowd I'm looking to party with.
Good to meet nat... and I can't wait for a trance event. |

Even though I'm a Trance Addict, 102.1 the Edge is my car station.
I still have a few friends into the rock scene, and sometimes venture out to the Phoenix with em. Nice change of pace every once and a while. |

I've been telling some friends of mine about Republik & it's Friday rock nights. We gotta hit it up soon. I have good fun at 107, Kingdom & Phoenix - partly because I get fairly tanked :D :D and its a cool change in scenes. |

I heard they were going to broadcast live, but they do that from the Kingdom in Burlington.
Which 102.1 personality was there? I used to love going to the phoenix on Saturdays! |

Kingdom's broadcast ends around 2 AM I believe, and from what I read on Republik's site, thier broadcast begins at 2 AM and probably ends at 5. |
