...no I don't want any before you ask, I know its banned :p

Is there anyway to burn a cue sheet for a set (ie ASOT 189) in .mp3 format, so you could fit 700mb of data on a cd, and not just 80 mins.

I have searched google but haven't had any luck.

I just want to listen to asot in my car and be able to skip tracks easily.

Your time and effort is much appreciated. :D

google musiCutter. It allows you to cut up big audio files into their respective tracks assigned by a supplied cue sheet. The segments remain in their mp3 format, allowing you to burn the tracks onto a CD for car MP3 usage.

:)

update: ok I got your program, split the mix up etc, but when I burn it there is a 'gap' or a jump between 2 tracks, I know how to get rid of the gap when burning an audio cd. Is it possible to remove the gap when burning a .mp3 file?

thanks for your time bud.

i can get it down to a 0.2 second gap but IMO this is still too much.

Burning a MP3 cd is not that same as CD Audio. MP3 CDs are simply data CDs with each MP3 file on it. When you burn an MP3 CD you are not allocating gaps in between the songs. It is all upto the player as to how it fades in between the songs. My Pioneer car MP3 player doesn't flow smoothly, so I have a gap in between my sets. However, what you pay for is what you get. If you go an buy a higher end Sony or Pioneer MP3 car CD player, a feature it should most definatly have is gapless playback of MP3s.

If you get Sony CD Architect, it will let you move the tracks together to make them go right into each other without skipping. Try that. There are also ways to adjust the tracks to suit each CD player's quirks built into the program.
