I gradually think im coming to terms with this dam mastering thing at last, praise the ing lord, etc etc. What do you all reckon though> Am I nearly there or have I become further away(ha) from breaking it?

whos using wat here lol good stuff the perc must be better as it is ......whos? lol messin joey...u gotta sort out the synths mate, the audio quality actually sounds good but ur synths there in such a state when it comes to witdth and depth
try going more for width , warm reverbs on synths, panning stereo widining etc.
need to get collab going mate. |

Omg that kickdrum is punchy :eyes: Maybe a little bit too punchy? Have you compressed the final mix? Cool Fxs in here :D Bassline is maybe a bit too stereo.. Oh, nice acid-line! Ahh-sweeps & pianorolls! Beautiful!!!! :gsmile: The piano is developing...interresting! Try having less attack on the acid-line... Too be extra percy, I'd say the clap is a little bit weak.. A long shh-clap would fit better in to this track, imo... Oh, the clip stopped right before the break. Superb track, Joey! I really must say. Nothing wrong with the sound in this one I think. Though IF you have compressed it, that's wrong to do. Compressing only destroy tracks... But I couldn't hear for sure whether you've compressed this one or not...
Keep working on this mate! I believe it's signable if you add a cool melody :cool: |

I like the reversed percs at the start - and the kick sounds good to me. I like the hi-hat that comes in at 20-25 seconds too. Sounds like some Probspot percs at times :D.
Bassline is nice too, as are the synths, and the piano fits in well. On my headphones here it sounds nice and clear, some parts maybe too loud - but im no expert :D

Alex_ I did actually compress it a little so the sounds dont overblow each other, well done for noticing. Appreciate the words as well bud.:D

| Never compress the final mix, Joey. Never. That's a golden rule :cool: Another golden rule to get good sound, is to make the volume approximately -0.8 dB when mastering ;) |
