When one of my mate's did salvia, he thought he was a chair for what in his mind seemed like 3 years, but he had always been a chair, so it wasn't a problem or anything.

When he came to he had only been out 5 minutes

not for me, stuff capable of doing that to your brain isn't something I'd wanna mess with.

Yes I tried it about a year ago. I was researching it on the web. Found out that Native Americans in the South West used to smoke or ingest the drug during rituals, normally involving a youth's rite of passage to manhood. It allowed them to be one with nature, and to go on spiritual quests, so I really wanted to try this out. A friend hooked me up with a small dosage of it, forget how many mg it was, and I ingested the capsule on a Sunday evening at home, around 7:30 pm. Well I knew the drug takes a while before you feel the effects, but by 10:30 I was growing impatient. 3 hours after intake and all I was feeling was a slight marijuana high. So a few friends come over and we watch Terminator 3. And I'm still sitting through the movie feeling stoned, but disappointed, cuz nothing is happening yet. Then near the end of the movie, around midnight, random objects from the movie start warping and twisting around, and I'm just staring at the movie wondering why the things are doing that. Special effects I guess? When the movie is over, I look around the living room, and things just aren't feeling right. The lights are more intense, and they seem to be changing color. I stare at the carpet, and the carpet looks as if it's alive, morphing about in front of me.

Well none of my friends suspect anything, and they're having such a great time they're inviting more people over my place. And I'm just sitting there stunned at everything. By 1 a.m. everything's becoming way too confusing for me. There's this one time where one of my friends open the fridge and the light is so intense I think there's an actual sun and sky in there. I'm so out of it that I also think the friend who opened my fridge is starting to urinate in there. I rush up to him and ask him, "Why the Hell are you pissing in my fridge? Are you trying to put out the sun?" and he looks at me all :wtf: By then my friends realize something's wrong with me, and that only makes me more paranoid. I start begging them not to tell anyone what I have done, and when they start looking nervous I either freak out and run away or laugh at them. And now I had about 7 different people over and I was just getting much too paranoid. So I lock myself in my room and stare at the ceiling, seeing all sorts of different faces staring back at me with curiousity, and mild humor. There was one point where I felt so claustrophobic I ran outside in the night, but I must say once I got outside, I felt much more relaxed and calm. Things became less confusing. I looked at the trees, and I could see faces in the trees. They were sighing in contentment. Everything felt so alive. The sounds of crickets chirping and cats meowing sounded incredibly exotic to me, and the roots of the trees reminded me of veins, as they seem to be pumping energy from the heart of the earth, feeding themselves. I still believe to this day, that the trees around my apartment are happy trees indeed. By 5 a.m. the thing finally wore off and was so glad when it did. This drug is certainly not meant to be taken at a party or at home, but out in nature, where you can feel all the life surrounding you. Although it was a rather bad experience for me, I would take it one more time, but while I'm camping in the woods, with experienced trippers.

BTW, all this talk of Salvia is becoming mighty interesting to me. I might just try this too. Doesn't sound like it's very addicting either. Not like coke or heroin.

according to erowid salvia also has a reverse-tolerence system. This means you need less and less to achieve the same result instead of more

No, they don't sell it in kroger or publix :p . There are less than 20 genetically unique plants in the US, because seeds are very very rare, and when you do get seeds, it rarely germinates. Therefore, you buy cuttings....

I bought mine from http://greenstranger.com. about $15 with s/h
