Im like very obsessive about organizing my music and umm im looking to see if Rapture (Deep Dish Remix) was by Vaiio or Iio
i would like to know if these are the same person and which one they go by...im sry if this question has been asked but the search thing f***ed up and it wont find it for me

Vaiio? LOL! sounds a like like VAIO, the sony computer brand. your file name is obviously a joke. the correct name is Iio

No, its not a joke.
Iio was first called Vaiio but when they time of their first record release came they were forced to change it to Iio just because of
Sony thinking that Vaiio and Vaio was a bit too similar.
So the correct name is both actually, Iio if you want it the official
way or Vaiio if you want to be able to brag about beeing into that
tune "in the old days, when it was real". :D |

Okay, paraphrased from their website:
"The name doesn't mean anything........It was inspired by my Sony Vaio laptop........at first we called ourselves Vaiio with an extra I because we thought is sounded very space-age..........a few months later a friend advised us to come up with something different.........so we dropped the VA and ended up with Iio"
So they used to be Vaiio, but shortened it to Iio. |
