You are sick prick, fair enough you can take the piss out of Bush and the government about the desions they make/made but taking the piss out of (or using for argument) soliders who have only obeyed orders and acted for what they belive in seriously does not sit well with me.

Bear in mind I do critise actions and tactics but to personalise critisim in such a manner is sick.
You make no points, no argument just enjoy other people being in pain because they are american.
Also bear in mind I know someone who was with Italian troops when their base was attacked in Iraq and they all acted professionaly as soliders and were also nice guys.
I am not disagreeing with you because you are Italian. But would you be so ready to post thouse pictures if they had your countrymen in them? I suspect no? Thouse troops with limbs missing and their faces ed were probebly nice guys and I really find it offensive for you to write(via posting) "Your Next" beside pictures of dead people.
Ideally nobody of any nation would "Next" you slackminded twat.
I say you sould be banned. |

Note I said "via posting".
To explain as he is posting these pictures and saying how he'd "like to show them to us" these must represent his views as all of them have lovely captions with them..... as oposed to simply picture. They are not only pictures they are statements. Some with practicly nothing but a baseless, bull statement. So they do not show us anything about the situation in Iraq they just have the views of the resistance movement. Which he is duplicating here.

I find this and pretty much all of thouse pictures unbelivably offensive. Calling people who have lost limbs stupid is offensive in my book......
And whats this pish about obaying orders? You really think these guys like being there? Think they enjoy killing people??? (perhaps in very very very few cases, but lets not genralise here) Then what are they doing?...... obaying orders..... why else? |

| I'm with Dervish on this one. Posting pictures to demonstrate the horrors of war is one thing. Posting propoganda pics that mock the dead/wounded to make a political point are another thing altogether. Do you think that posting pics of dead insurgents with captions like "don't with the USA" should be tolerated? |

yes, you're right in the sense that those are pretty disturbing and disgusting images. but I think that was his argument. showing the human cost and distructiveness of war. i believe that if most people had witnessed such things with their own eyes or even seen such things in the media, there is no way any civilized society would support this war, or any war for that matter. people don't want to go to war unless they have to. and there was no reason to go to war in this case. so i think you're being rather unfair when you say that this guy posted these images or started this threat because he hates america/likes to see them in pleasure (or sometihng to that effect). |

I skipped over this thread when it was posted......i didnt want to get into more America bashing...ehh...i know how bad things are in Iraq.
There is definatly something wrong with this thread and the images posted here....its blatent propaganda.....
I you look at the profile of the person who posted the thread......a total of 1 post...and this is it....i think that says it all....so he posts the thread and s off.....to do it elsewhere...
I think the images should be deleted.....as we dont know what the posters agenda is...but it seems to me to be propaganda....and as Occ said...there would be an outcry from all on this board if the reverse were to happen...and the person would probably be banned.... |

If they didnt like being there, or the idea of war why the did they join an army?!! I never said they enjoyed killing people.
The german officers who gassed the jews where "just obeying orders", does that make there actions okay? And should they of not been blamed then?

Firstly I agree with you on the last part, someone has that as their avatar. And I think it should be removed. Especially since the balance of probability is that they were actually innocent as I argued about alot in a large thread way back.
As for finding the pictures offensive, I supose it's a subjective thing. But I just do. I could explain if you want but I suspect you'll have a rough idea why I find them offensive?
And well done on bringing up the old "germans gassing jews" arguement for obaying orders, why yes it is totally relavant.....
....I'm sure the americans are systematicly trying to exterminate the entire race of???? eh??? Iraqis????
So they shouldn't be following these totally unresonable orders as part of the Iraqi "final solution"? |

Well it's so small I can't even tell what's happening in it. It looks tasteless though. My viewpoint is that nothing should be prohibited on its own. If people want to post pictures of war to show how horrible it is than I'm all for it. I'm merely arguing that if you do so, do it in a tasteful manner without the dumb commentary slapped onto the picture to make a political point. Otherwise you make it open season for yahoos on the other side of the political gambit to post pictures of people dying gruesome deaths with their retarded commentary that celebrates or mocks that death as well. Things would get out of control pretty quickly. |
