woohoo for free wireless connection in FLL airport! Time to post like crazy
I really enjoyed my stay at space on friday. one of the girls needed to buy a General Admission ticket so we got there around 945. When I got there, there was a line to pick-up will calls and just one line to get in. luckily, the line to get in was less than 10 minutes. My friend paid $60 for her general admission.
once inside, just hung out by the door to go upstairs. when pvd finally came on, i gave him one track, then shot myself upstairs.
what happend to that chillout room they had before? the one that was outside?
anyway, anybody know why sander was so late? those openers really tore it up though. really really dark stuff and lots of room to dance. you know what kind of party it was when the lines at the bar were virtually empty
i think it was around 430 when sander finally came on. danced all the way until 800 then i ran out of gas. def THE night for me at WMC.
o yeah...i really like the new layout of the terrace. don't know how "new" it is, but i really like seeing the city in the background of the DJ. |

| there was a vocal track paul dropped that i am in LOVE with...don't know the name...apparently he played in on nye in nyc, and last night- said something about "wandering" or "wondering"??? anyone ID? |

| damns dont really remember much of this night but do remember dancing nonstop till 8am...but damns music and club was tiiiiight lol. LOVED the terrace and Sander K toO...w00t w00t. soo happy i got there early |

sander was hot on the terrance - he threw down a sick ass set and loved seeing the sunrise - saw dave dresden and talked to him for a bit. sander is definitely my #2 dj right now - he's on top of his game and has developed this funky, chunky sound that i absolutely LOVE
pvd was ok in the main room - i think i listened to about 1 hour of his set - broken up into 15 minutes intervals - couldn't stand the crowds, so would go down for a few minutes and then leave. the only track that i remember him spinning was samba bruta and i remember jumping up and down to another track, b/c if i stood there i would have been beaten to a pulp whle everyone else was jumping. was able to push my way to the front for a bit, but had to leave cuz of the crowds.
the one positive about space is the sound - i have to admit that the music sounded incredible down on the main floor. |
