After getting all dressed up with my friends and walking into the palais des congres to see everyone look so sexy in white and hyped up to party is such a great feeling!:gsmile:

I have to agree that Preach played such an amazing set!!! WOW! when his remix of marco v's More than a life away came on I totally lost it and so did everybody else! Preach was jumping and so was everybody in the place with their hands high in the air screaming!!! Good one;) soooo loud and much energy!!!

Then came Tiesto and he totally blew me away as well! So many crazy tracks I wish I could ID!! The room was packed beyond belief but that didnt stop anyone from going wild!! I also found both rooms to be very pretty decorated!! The line-up, coat check, and search were very effective and quick!

I dont remember much of Benni Bennassi's set, other than he played quite a few popular tracks and remixes of "radio hits", if I can put it that way...but he did play Smack my bitch up!!!:gsmile::crazy: that was enough to please me!!

I left around 9....woudl have loved to stay till the end and really get into Deep Dish's set...but my little feet just couldnt take any more dancing!

Aaawwwww what a great party!!!!!! Kinda dissapointed I couldnt make it to the meet-up, hopefully soon!

Otherwise, there were 2 really weak points to this event i think, the first one being the ridiculously overcrowded trance room, especially at the beginning of Tiesto's set it got sooooo hottt...It was literally impossible and suffocating to dance anywhere except in the back near the doors, which was really a shame because I WANTED TO DANCE...In the crowd!!!!

Secondly, having to take a tour of the palais in order to get to the washrooms and fill up a water bottle wasnt too pleasant either, but then again same goes for the Bell centre parties..

I'm so anxious to see all the pictures!!!!

WHERE WAS CHRISTIAN!!!! I kept scouring the dance floors looking for that kid! How hard is it to find a 6'4 bulgarian guy? :(

Man Monika ! you were all hyped  always great to see someone having fun.

In overall, it was a great night, me and the people I was with had fun (their first rave) ...but it wasn't as good as BeB 2004

Really liked the set up. Nice to see u there bud! TA's need to wear certain t-shirts or have a pin on them to find other TA's easilly! The set up was amazing. The Floors on the ceiling omg, awesome! I wish I could of been at BeB 2004.

omg

dj tiesto who??? preach totally stole the show, no one even compared to him for the entire event "left at 7am, didn't get a chance to see deep dish, although the last 3 times i have seen them they rocked and i am sure that they did" preach just smacked tiesto around like the little bitch he is :tongue3

as usual we were running late and didn't get to make it to the pre-meet like a wanted to, although i met malek at the event

i def. would have to say that tiesto's set at grand prix last year was light years better then this one, i have been talking to some people lately from other threads and it just seems that he has been getting worse and worse, maybe all of us expect more because we have seen some awesome stuff from him, but i dunno???

this was pretty much my last show in montreal for a bit, i am going to be moving to nyc and won't be back up this way for a bit, what a way to end it for now.........preach you rocked my world and i think everyone elses also in the trance room when you were on, i went with 2 other people and they agree also

i predict that preach will be in the top 25 or better in two years on the top 100 dj poll, although i think he should kick tiesto's ass and take the crown that belongs to him :whip:

oh yeah.......all of the girls were freaking breath taking

better than last year? or...

Woke up about an hour ago, so here's my review before I forget the details :toothless

Started off the night at the TA meetup at 8:00PM at Cafe Depot. By the end of the meetup, around 9:30, we were about 15 people so it was nice and intimate, and we got to shoot the and laugh at Americans :D VERY nice meeting milanster, O-Rza, Blinckme, OrangeMek, dj_lemeir, Nitelife and the non-TAs, although of course, all the Arabs showed up about an hour late...except for Sam who managed to be an hour and a half late :toothless Nice also seeing Malek running around taking pics all over the place :p

Got into the Palais by around 10:30, and started off the night with Preach. The room was already packed so early, as opposed to the House room which was EMPTY, so it tells you something about the quality of the set Preach played. We found a little empty area at the back of the room with dancing space, so it was pretty nice, until Tiesto came on. DISASTER. First of all, you couldn't breathe, and second of all, I wasn't impressed at all by anything he played within the first hour. I couldn't take the over-crowdedness anymore, so we decided to go to the House room and check out Morales. Needless to say, he was playing ultra gay house, and his mixing was ATROCIOUS. No flow to the set whatsoever, and very choppy...didn't enjoy his set at all. BUT, at 5:00, Rauhofer comes on, and delivers the BEST set hands down of the entire night. Absolutely phenomenal. Dark proggy House with HUGE bass :eyespop: :eyespop: I was dancing for 3 hours straight right at the opening of the House room, where there was enough room to dance and still great sound quality. I heard people were flocking in droves from Benassi's set, and that he was playing hip hop at one point :stongue: :stongue: Oh well, I didn't check him out cause Rauhofer was killingggg. Finally Deep Dish comes on. I had been waiting in anticipation of course the entire night for their set, and to be quite honest, it was average. I've heard much better from them. They played REALLLLY hard house. Definitely much more techno than house for at least half their set, and the fact that I started cramping a little didn't help. The last 75 minutes of their set though was great, and I continued dancing in that same spot till the end. I bumped into Blinks right at the end, and he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't play Risk cause he was scared of losing :toothless :toothless Ended up leaving when the whole thing was over, got some sleep, and off to smoking some shisha in a while. Might check out that place that you mentioned lemeir on St. Denis :D

All in all, great rave, although not my best of all time. Better than last year's Bal en Blanc in my opinion, but nothing beats Cream 2004 :toocool:

Crazy !! Awesome !! Malade !! Fou !! Incredible !! Magic !! Incroyable !! Magique !!

There's no word to describe this night !! It was for sure one of the best night of my life !! I'm for sure a BEB addict yet !!

Preach : Dude !! It was excellent !!The best warm up you can dream before Tiesto. I was so excited !! I enjoy listening to your mix !

By the way...why Tiesto began his set 30min later ?

Tiesto : AWESOME !! It was my first Tiesto live experience ! and it was a real pleasure to listen to his mix !
At the beginning his mix was mainly progressiv and after the real Tiesto-style became !! OH WAOUH !!

Just a question...during the set of Tiesto, a man (whith glasses if my memory is good) made the Id-t sign in the VIP section (very often). I did it too. Was it a TAs ?? He was just behind Tiesto.

After Tiesto....Benny B...aie ! comment dire, j'ai été déçu c sûr mais à la fois sans grande surprise...

worst set i have ever seen in my life
I likely agree.

Just one thing...very funny..When Deep Dish was mixing, Benny was watching him...like "hey professor how do you do that. I want to mix as good as you". C'est méchant je sais, mais vraiment vraiment it's was funny !
Some good tracks, but the mix was not so good !

After all...Deep Dish !! Excellent mix !! But I couldn't no more dancing...too tired !!

I leave around 10.

Thank you very much everybody for this night. It was crazy !!

See you next year !!

WELllllllllllllllllllllll, i can start off saying that was one hell of a night, preach was amazing.,..heard the last hour of his set, then tiesto came on and wtv wasnt that impressed till he stated dropping some massive tunes, SKIN especially, from there on it got intense.....then bennassi came on and to be honest he was alrite, although his base line was too monotone.

Marco G played the set of the night!! When Bennassi played, alot of people left to go dance in the house room:nervous:. But 30 minutes after Marco G started playing the party was awesome again in the trance room:D. Im glad i stayed to hear his performance!! still have alot to learn from him!!

track of the night: poca del machine ;)

Left around 7 whith my girlfriend and mcb001982. I thought the set up was alot bettter than last year. The sound comming out of those two rooms was damm near excellent for a large exposition center. I liked how the lights this year weren't overpowering. didn't have to pull down the shades once this year.
Ive been listening to preach, intensibely, now for nearly a
year and I've been impressed. But what happened last night was incredible. The local boy from montreal taught the number 1 DJ in the world how to play for the best scene in the world(Montreal). His set and his energy were incredible. I was in the front right by him yelling and dancing the whole time. He really set the mood right for me. Making me a happy chatty person during the whole night instead of a zonked out siting on floor geting sick person. Tiesto set was pretty good but it difinitely wasn't his best in montreal. Didn't stay in the house room for more than 5 minuts. Didn't like the sound comming out of there and it was a sausage party. The trance room felt toghether and on the same page. During the tiesto set it got so hot I was overwhelmed and had to go outside. Thats never happened to me before. Usualy I can handle my self. Didn't get to see deep dish my favorits but everybody around me was droping like flies and more FOOD:D was not gonna help. theres always a next time. This was my second BnB and I'm now addicted. Love the white. Didn't make the meet up but I hope to meet you guys some other time. Now with mcb001982 leaving for the NYC I need some new going out buddies.

Preach you worked hard for this. Baske in the sunlight and please continue. I will see soon at aria again. I got a free cd from you but so did mcb001982 so I gave my extra to this kid I met last night who didnt know you until last night and aggreed that your set was the best of the night. Anyway nice talking to you guys and thanks for listening.
