Every track i hear changes colors over time.
3xx3r7
Marcel Woods vs. Jesselyn - Fauna = dark red.

I tend to just... y'know... listen to the music and not worry about colors :tongue2

Almost all of Armin's tracks remind me of PURPLE. (especially Burned w/ Desire)

But some songs that remind me of colors are:
Tranquility Base - Surrender --> Blue
Way Out West - Killa --> Red/Orange
Ridgewalkers feat. El - Find (Andy Moor Remix) --> Different tones of blue

and... Sophie Sugar - Call of Tomorrow (John O'Callaghan Remix) I just picture this..

I was thinking the other week, that certain tunage sets colours...

Its in weird, take for example Insigma - Open Your Eyes this track always seems Red (check out the sig for the others), it only happens with tunes i listen alot.

Maybe im just going insane, cause it feels like it :conf:

wow, this is a regurgitation from the past. I remember posting in the elder thread version a few times back in vietnam 62.

It's like when you hear someone vomit, you instantly think of yellow vile. ;)

Or I suppose when you hear someone do a poo, you think of brown. Trance is the same. ;)

funny topic,
I also found out I had this weird 6th sense when I saw a TV doco about it. I thought I was the only one who had these colourful thoughts. Mine are more stronger with numbers. i.e., numbers always give off a strong colour to me. Green is very common for most numbers.

I don't really associate music with colors. However, I have an odd habit of visualizing pieces of the tune. I can see shapes of synths, kicks, and percs. Some synths, like those used in Probspot's earlier tunes for example, look kinda round to me. Other synths, like in Sam Sharp - Twister (RVDB Remix) look sharp and violent, almost.
PlasticSoul
I easily fall in synaesthesya... there are some psytrance sites talkin about this:

Mauro Picotto - Dark room = Black
Thrillseekers - Synaesthesya = red
Insigma - Open your eyes = orange/red
Tiesto - Suburban train = red
Vairous of Solar Stone = green
Sasha - Airdrawndagger album = lots of yellow
Most Airwave = some metalic colours like grey.
M.I.K.E. = the same above.
Most ATB tracks = blue...

:wtf:

kr00t0n
Ralphie B - Massive = Red lights

Veracocha - Carte Blanche = White, blue and green sparkles

Delerium - Silence (Tiesto) = Red waves/clouds

Andain - Beautiful Things = Semi-long distance shot of a car travelling through the countryside in the late afternoon

KvA - Made of Sun (Hard Dub) = Various blue and green lasers

Signum - Coming on Strong = Red sparkles

Westbam vs Red Jerry - Wizards of the Sonic (Matt Darey) = Flying over a 3d-generated type landscape cycling through reds/blues/yellows

Envio - Touched by the Sun (Airbase) = Green lights and lasers

Although the definition of synaesthesia is very specific, pseudosynaesthesia is seen frequently. Pseudosynaesthesia can occur unintentionally, as with drug use or learned associations, or intentionally, as in much literature, music, and art.

Drug Use
Drug use is one of the most common causes of pseudosynaesthesia. Hashish has been the most frequently mentioned substance in the past, due to the large number of writers who are known to have used it and commented on its vivid effects. These writers spoke frequently of hearing and/or smelling colors, seeing sounds, and even seeing feelings during their hashish intoxication. More recently, mescaline has been shown to produce extremely vivid pseudosynaesthetic experiences. Peyote (related to mescaline), which is sacred to many Native American tribes and is often used in their spiritual ceremonies, has very similar effects. With both peyote and mescaline, the pseudosynaesthesia produced is most frequently of the visual/hearing type.
