Mine disconnects whenever I reach a certain speed on bittorrent or just when having a few mozilla windows open and using something like limewire at the same time.
Does anyone else run into this problem and if so how can it be fixed? It's not as if I was getting massive speeds on BT or anything, it was like 80kb/s. |

| I appreciate any help seeing as I can't even ing download anything from yousendit.com without the internet crashing and me having to restart my computer for it to work again. |

| That's weird...you should call them and tell them about it. I usually have no problems with my service although sometimes I find that i need to reset my modem/router once in a while for some reason. Although I have one of the older/tier modems too... |

I haven't had any problems with it either. And I've gotten my bittorrent speeds up to 300k/s at times.
My question is, how much can I upload/download a month before they cut me off, or at least warn me? I must be getting close to that limit this month... |

O.K I know for a fact that it isn't the service now
It's either A - a problem with windows (I just formatted though) or B - a problem with my ethernet card
Is there anyway to verify it's my ethernet card? |

As far as I know, Bell doesn't cap their downloads, however Rogers will be soon.
The amount of Pissed off Customers I've had to deal with this week over that alone is just stupid..

i like bell cause they are pretty retarted. i had a broken dsl modem for 6 moths and i kept telling them it was ed, they didnt belive me so they sent a lineman out 3 in times to boost my signal,
then after 6 months when they finally replaced the modem, my inet is blazing speed right now |

i know they don't hence why i said it's my computer, either windows or the ethernet card itself.
rogers has been threatening to cap downloads for years, it was supposed to happen ages ago. |
