i think they look in stupid, why would you wear something just because everybody else starts wearing it?!?!!

i agree on the reflectors and i used to be totally anti-phatties but once i put on a pair of normal denim ones i decided that they are the most comfy pants i've worn (and i wear a lot of pants)

I used to wear massive pants back in my raving days. 5,6 years ago, I was all about big pants. The bigger, the better. It wasn't all about the reflectors, or cartoon characters stitched on the side for me, but size was definately the way to go. I remember my biggest pair flared out to 36" on the bottom, that was freacking bigger than my waist! I could stick 2 soccer balls up each leg while wearing them, and a full sega genesis system with 4 games & boxes or 6 rented videos in the back pockets. They were huge. But since raving is no longer cool, I've taken it down to a modest 22". there's nothing wrong with them, I just got tired of flapping in the breeze when I was walking down the street.

hahahahaha :D

I just wear good ole trackies when I go out.

I wear plain denim ones when I want to be comfy or dance.. but they are more like wider-leg jeans than 'phats'. They keep you a bit cooler too.
Not a fan of the straps/huge smiley faces/fluoro but its personal preference I guess

I take it these be US phatties?... There very cloth looking as apposed to our "big jean" styles... then again i think Melbourne town is a bit full on considering theres over 3 shops/brands of phatties one can buy... Dunno how many other places offer that.
