At Ultra I got a flyer for Johan at Webster I thought I was too drunk, because 1 it was a flyer for NYC and 2 it was a flyer for a class DJ at a ty club.

Johan & Kai in a month thats sick. Hopefully they will use the money they make on repairs.

yeah, it. I'm gonna make it out for Kai Tracid. He's unmissable.

FINALLY

I LIVED TO SEE THE DATE WHEN NYC IS ACTUALLY STARTING TO COME UP ON THE RADAR OF OTHER DANCE MUSIC THAN JUST HOUSE.

So what that it is Webster Hall. If it is rennovated with the new sound WHO CARES that it is Webster Hall it is all about the DJs and MY GOD if this line up is true than I AM IN HEAVEN!!!!!

i think its a little bit too much at one time though, i love every DJ theyre having there, but theyre announcing such HUGE acts just 2 and 3 weeks before the fact, most of those DJs deserve months of anticipation, especially with the clubs and DJs their competing with this month... ive been looking forward to this month for a while, for DJs like Marco V, Ferry, Cosmic Gate, PvD, and now this just is just too late  ill be too broke
Ferry cancelled (Was supposed to be at Avalon anyway) and PvD is at Crobar. :conf:

Exactly. Ferry did not impress me in Avalon last time I heard him. And PvD in CROBAR????? PvD apparently jumped on the money grabbing train. $40!!! for tix. INSANE!!!!

I actually welcome Webster Hall emergence on the scene. As I mentioned before this club hosted some awsome talent back in a day. NYC needed a bit of an musical make over. Made events is picking up Spirit (despite the fact that imo the club is crap) they are bringing some cutting edge talent (Nu NRG was just here, Thomas Schumacher is coming soon) now webster hall with what seems to be Hard Trance oriented nites. I would say spring and summer are looking up for NYC.

We are ready for the next evolution.

Yeah, $40 seems a bit high in my opinion. But I will be at Crobar anyway. And Spirit didn't seem like a bad club to me. The center dance floor seemed a bit small but if you left the floor there was PLENTY of room to move around. Only thing I hope for Crobar is that the actual dance floor is larger. Because PvD is definitly going to bring in a large crowd.

I dont know Doom. Spirit somehow does not give rise to the best feelings in me. Dont know why just doesnt. Maybe because of the crowd. Maybe because of the sound, although I heard they fixd this problem. I havent been to WH in quite a few years so we shall find out on Friday if this will be the next PLACE TO BE.

I have to admit. There were a few people at Spirit during Armin that really pissed me off. I am standing there dancing in the middle of the floor and I get grabbed around my waist and pushed forward. I turn around and this little bald guy was like, "Move. You stepped on my foot." I said sorry to not start anything further but man you are at a packed club where EVERYONE is dancing. You will get pushed and shoved and stepped on just deal with it. Then he had the audacity to do the same thing to someone else who ended up standing up for themselves and the guy just walked away. Then the damn crowd surfers. Never knew this existed at trance concerts... but whatever. Spirit as a club wasn't too bad but the kiddies annoyed me. I'm sure I will be a bit more happy with the 21+ crowd at Crobar.
