People were going mad through his entire set. I have video of it. Junkie is a showman. :thepirate

tiesto ultra set was filled with some good trainwrecking not as bad as oakie.

JXL, was just amazing

Morillo's camp was rockign it..You trancers would have converted if given the chance to party it up in that tent.

sander...Ultra set was good..Rough start with the CDJ acting up though..

PVD + FERRY (with a VERY considerate mention to Sander who kicked f0ckin ASS on the Terrace) >Tiesto at SPACE no DOUBT

but i have to admit, Tiesto was REALLY good at Ultra tho....

too bad Drew missed out on Tiesto at Ultra, he prolly would have liked it better. He went to MAGIC MUSIK nite and was yawning throughout his set

ya subliminal tent was rocking. i heard morillo for a good 30 mins then went to the tent with carl cox rippin it to shreads. that guys got some serous skills, mixin like 2 cds and 2 vinyls at a time. crazyness i tell ya. sanders set was awesome other then the cdj up but hey, like that happens, no biggie. ultra was really cool, i expected a tyer event but i actually enjoyed it alot.

For the time that I was there Junkie played the same stuff as last year, and somehow I got the feeling that he was better last year.. AS for Oakey, he lost that Oakey unique style he had, was better then last year, but not better then the first 3 yrs of his @ Ultra.. which were unique and uncomparable, right up there with the best in terms of tune selections.

I was in the exact same boat as you were before ultra, I was pretty much just looking forward to Carry on @ AAA, but ultra surprised me, saw a lot of great dj's throw down some sick sets. Get to go see Coxy again tonight in Denver, i'm just prayin he throws down as hard as he did in miami!

Ok now for my Ultra report.....

I ing HATE Ultra!!! I will never go back again....EVER!!! You couldn't pay me to go back. Wait in line here, wait in line there, wait in line to scratch your balls.....ing pathetic. I waited almost an hour to take a piss and I get to the front only to get mauled by some stupid candy raver begging me to let her cut in line in front of me. I was about to smack that glowing retard into next week. I really couldn't get into the music after all that bull . Just watching the people walk by pissed me off. Im sorry but 16 year old kids with paint smasks on about to fall over doesn't appeal to me. We got there when Ferry was finishing up so I can't say much about his set. Oakenfold came on and trainwrecked right into his second track (I called that one) Junkie XL tore it up just like last year. Fight for your Right never gets old. Tiesto's set was alot better than last year although I could have gone without hearing Love Comes Again and Traffic (but atleast it was the Montana edit) I stayed untill about two tracks into PVD's set and I just couldn't stand anymore so I left to go crash at the hotel. Im glad I left cause if I would have heard NBY and TOOL I would have puked all over my friends.LOL

I have to disagree. I was not planning on going to Ultra since the sets are so small but we managed to get in for free and had a blast. There are a lot of kids but whatever I was there to listen to music and I think the way its setup its pretty cool. The amphitheater is pretty cool when a good DJ gets the crowd going. Now the number one reason why Ultra was very good is because I hung out for over 2 hours at the Carl Cox tent and as many people here mentioned it was out of this world. If I had not gone to Ultra I would have missed that.

The biggest problem with ULTRA is it's hot ass, long day, knock you the out factor. One you go there you're usually done...

... Nap Time, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

And Sweaty, Redfaced, Fat-assed, 16 year old girls wearing butterfly wings kill my buzz just by looking at them.
FallingMoon
I can't say anything about Space.

but Ultra I will say that Dyk > Tiësto because Tiësto was too mellow for me most of his set, I literally sat almost the entire 2 hours and last year he had me UP the entire time...I think he was better last year with the exception of when he played Silence :wtf: but Dyk threw down this year like crazy...had me dancing the entire time no matter how much my legs wanted to give out!!

I think last year Tiësto and Dyk were tied because they both threw down awesome sets...as far as this year goes...

Dyk all the way...way more banging than Tiësto IMHO.
