i remember reading a news story about some guy who was somewhere on his lawn when the ground above their septic tank collapsed, and he fell in and drowned in his own septic tank with his kids standing there watching

I remember reading about this incident in Nigeria where two people died. What happened was a woman accidentaly dropped her cellphone into one of those outhouses. So she offered a reward to people, something like a few bucks, to fetch it for her. One guy went in, and passed out from the methane, and died. Then another guy climbed down, and the same thing happened.
Funniest thing is that's where the body count stops because the police had to hold back other dumbasses from trying their luck. |

| The above pic reminds me of the story where a guy was cleaning up elephant poo when the elephant sat on his head thus the guy's head going up the elephant's ass. The guy didn't die, but could have easily suffocated if someone weren't there to help. |
