well, i just had spring break and i'm not much for just sitting around so i decided to go all out and build a beer pong table. this is it 90% done. i think i'm cutting out squares for recessed water cups. Anyways the symbol in the middle is the school i go to. it was done by hand! well i finished it and now like all frats on campus want me to do some custom tables for them. so here it is...

thats a pretty professional looking table.

One of my friends just shoved a big sheet of wood (like maybe 4 feet wide, 6 feet long) onto his kitchen table (which was too small, hence the sheet of wood) and then placed the cups in the pyramid formation on each side.

A different group of friends just used a park bench they have on their patio.

Anyways, I don't think most people have a need for real tables like that :/ And what were you using the tape for?

But how much would the fraternities be paying you?

Just wondering.

How do you set up your cups?

Do you do the reverse pyramid or just the plain old pyramid?
Omega_Blue
nice handywork there. plain old pyramid over here.

it depends, that piece was made w/ 3/4" oak so it will probably be sold for 225-250$. the frat tables i have some other ideas, so probably around 175. i do the 10, 6, 3 triangles in the tradational way.

10 cups here in normal formation

like so, on each side of the table:

------:D------
----:D--:D----
--:D--:D--:D--
:D--:D--:D--:D

If you can get money for it thats awesome though.

"A drinking game in which players attempt to throw ping pong balls across a table into an opponent's half-filled cups of beer. Players are required to drink the beer from any of their cups into which the opponent throws a ball. The first player to hit all their opponent's cups wins. The loser is required to drink whatever beer is left on the table (in opponent's cups). For sanitary reasons a cup of water is kept at either end of the table to wash the balls off after each throw, but if you've ever played you know it doesn't really help.

Note: Table size, number of players/cups, and house rules concerning bounces, misses, and crossovers vary depending on the college/fraternity/drinking club involved."

That's taken from urbandictionary.com.

to make sure the table is really good, you'd have to sit on it with your naked butt and move around extensively, and tell your feelings after a couple of minutes.

nice game. but i prefer beer stand/beer bone:) it has that "let's cut through bull" notion to it:)

for sanitary reasons, you would really need a bucket - where to put the vomit:D

:haha:

Then it's all about playing DOUBLES beer pong.

I don't like to drink so I played for my cousin. I basically would try to get the ball into the other side's cups while my cousin took all the drinks. It was a funny experience because they were using these HUGE ASS cups and got drunk so fast.
