GREAT!
me and my friend have been saving up money for a MIXER and QUALITY MIC for OUR rap project (yes we're into rap! BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT). Anywho, we been saving up for at least 2 months! (we're not exactly rich) Anyways! i knew it was a bad idea but i bought a friggn Behringer EuroRack UB1002, but it was useless cuz we had no amp/receiver to get sound, nor did we have a studio quality mic. So wat? We had the first thing we needed. Now-we bought the amp and this is a month later after we bought the mixer because we wasted all our savings on it, and we dont ask mommy and daddy for the money!
So---After a what seemed 2 long ass month's we finally bought a nice mic, with no noise, and juz a clean sound. And we even tested it out on the Eurorack. So everything is cool, and we have everything connected! so it's like YAY! Maybe one hour passed and the mixer just... I DUNNO DIED. We checked everything, and AC chord, to check out what was wrong and ITS IN GOOD CONDITION! infact, it's in perfect condition but it wont turn on!
Ok, so like, we're both pissed, cause we dont really want to buy Another mixer, A GOOD MIXER, which means MORE MONEY, when we got this 'in perfect condition' mixer but just doesnt wanna turn on. I heard Behringer makes real crappy , so I'm guessing this is what I get for buying ty crap.
Anywho,

there isnt anything.
Its the plug for the SOCKET (that goes into the wall) which LOOKS great, then it connects to a box thingy, then from there another wire comes out, which goes to the mixer, and which also seems fine. |

so you have to plug the lead into the back of the mixer?
if so check if its in properly and test the lead on other appliances, i.e. a kettle (they have the same leads) |

well for one thing my "DJ" mixer has no jack for the MIC... its one of those that look like a midi cable... and plus it would a be good wAY to make acapellas (ours of course), so we could easily mix em in with any beat we want..... i dunno its hard to explain how we were doing it... |
