Well said itikia,... how about you people go check out Judge Jules first, then post your impressions of him...

I know I'll be there for sure, since good trance (and I don't mean underground e either) coming from any European DJ is considered a luxury in this city...

I'm going to see JJ....personnally i think he is overrated but i'll go with an open mind and hope that the judge delivers the goods....something tells me though that most of the stuff he spins will either be cheeze or some of his own productions (which are cheeze as well !!!)

Fantom is right, let's not discuss JJ now, I am listening to him Live at lush and essential mix, and i can say he is not that bad.

And please ppl don't try to say if smth is crap or smth is not, one ady u like it one day u don't, I am getting pissed when ppl say Tiesto sucks or Ferry corsten suck, and i hear it more and more. I don't think they would say the same when they were listening to Magik''s or in search of sunrise, innercity 2 years ago. I didn't hear anything new from Sasha or Digweed but ppl continue to say that they are the best. If we'll talk in real, Not sasha, not digweed drove me that crazy as Tiesto and Corsten and AVD did.

Evybody like something different in trance, the most important part is THIS IS THE TRANCE. There is no such thing as crappy trance.

One more question, what do you mean by commercial trance....ed up trance, the most popular trace or what.....? While awesome song is not known it's called underground, and then when it becomes popular in a year it is called commercial and crapy. BULL!!! Good song will be the good song forever. And i will be more happy if millions of ppl gonna love it too...and we will be jumping in some night club together:clown: :clown: :clown:

I've been waiting for the Judge to finally come to Toronto. There's no way i'm missing this one since i missed Armin (Had such a Major hangover from celebrating my bday the night b4...that i just couldn't go)

All i was waiting for was for Judge or Marco V...and well one prayer was answered.. I'll see ya guys there...

Guys u might not like him but untill i see u with residencies at some of the best clubs in the world then we can talk... Hes not crap. The man spins records, mostly the same records u hear on any set. Ok everyone cant afford to keep it underground and has to go commercial for money and exposure... Nothing wrong with that, remember being a dj is a job for $$$$ so opportunities are opportunities.

Ill be there for sure, judge will rock that place.

IM OUT

The guy is going to spin some of the lovely trance tracks from this past year. Being that this is Toronto and we dont nearly get enough trance, i will check him out if the price is reasonable. The sound will be good, the lights will be good and if I got all to do on that wednesday it would be an injustice to the name tranceaddict not to go.

i think its 17.50

i think that judge jules has to be one of the most controversial and argued about dj's i've ever seen. personally i like him, i've seen him twice now the first being at gatecrasher last dce 16 where he came on after tiesto and did a job of keeping the energy going but was still ok, the second was last april when he played at the palace in calgary, that was a in rough show, jules played a perfect set and kept the place jumpin all night, so what i'm trying to get at is don't judge the judge til you see him live he's funny as hell behind the decks, and if you think he can't play trance then download his trance energy set and then decide whether to hate or not.

Ill agree, and ive said this for ages. Jules radio show is 1 thing. him live @ a party is another.
He kix ass

Really??? He's so high in the rankings because its commercial and dats what the majority of people like??? Its odd though you consider yourself to like the underground. You obviously like progressive dj's ie. Nick Warren, Sasha, Digweed... Well if the ratings of the Dj top 100 was simply based the notion that the top Dj's are up there simply because they play commercial, this would then make you a top commercial listener!! Why's that? Well in case you didn't notice Sasha, Digweed were both rated 2 and 1, respectively; with your boy Nick Warren at 28. And this is from the same dj top 100 that rated JJ number 11...

JJ does play some pretty commercial trance, however in think many of you guys fail to realise that he isn't a hardcore trance Dj. He tends to play lots of house music too... Thats what i like about JJ; he plays both house and trance tracks....

see the thing with Sasha and Digweed, its different u know..they have the skills of remixing, producing, and skills as a dj. AND THEY DO SPIN UNDERGROUND TUNEZ, that you will never know, well can't say if you listen 2 progressive that much. I like progressive, its the spark that i get now, nothing else makes me wanna dance...in any case you haven't been reading, Paul Van Dyk which is considered to be "The God of Trance", he himself said that Nick Warren or Dave Seaman should be the #1 dj's...and as of Nick Warren being #28, show's that he's not that popular, and who are you going 2 argue here man? Nick Warren is underground, coz of da way he spins, his track selections and so on, he's a master of his own, he's pretty much invincible in the club scene, neither less he spins proggie trance&house...so wat if JJ puts on some cheesy house tunes, tunes dat u will know? wats da fucn of dat going 2 a club and knowing wat tunes are gonna be spun? i dont see much fun in it, just like YA, I KNOW DIS TUNE, and there dats it, u know the whole song .Obviously most of the people know Judge Jules! its 4 da name that its stands! and i bet you any day dat once you go on wednesday 2 see JJ, there's gonna me loads of people, instead of like Nick Warren  people are talking about his productions? ya right is that a joke? i never heard a tune from JJ that he has produced :eyes: if u know 1, den tell me 1 :eyes: or even Armin Van Buuren #27? right? we all know that AVB is a lot better in very category then JJ :D this is wat i think, so ppl dont take any offence
peace :)
