| The album (done with Dr.Atmo btw) is pretty damn rare thanks to Pete Namlook's limitation policy for Fax, so that there are no comments is not surprising. Would like to hear it myself. |

I second that.
The Ambush - The Ambush album is some more Ambient-esque stuff from Lieb, done around the same time, you may likewise want to check out. |

"FAX +49-69/450 464" releases are indeed extremely hard to get hold of as they have been pressed only a very limited amount. Luckily some of them got rereleased on Fax's sublabel Ambient World and some of those i have managed to find even. AW CDs aren't as strictly limited as the others but still i have found only 9 of them. There are lots and lots more brilliant ambient and breaks works which i would definitely want but there isn't much i could do really but hope i come up with them some day.
I have one track off that Lieb & Atmo album on an Ambient World release, a 4CD compilation called Ambient Cookbook which features some selected picks out of Fax catalog. Movement V is the track and it is really enjoyable deep and haunting ambient with a subtle trancey vibe. It gets overshadowed by many other tracks on the album tho. Sadly for a perfectionist like me, most tracks on this compilation have been edited, some even several minutes. |
