Graham & I are off to NY tomorrow for 5 days to stay w/Fran.
Adam Beyer @ Sullivan Room, Sasha & Digweed @ Crobar, Katz's Deli, seeing old friends & a cousin, MoMA, Ground Zero, Times Square, and a friend's wedding.
Hope u all have fun at Fleming!

yo yo yo....
havin fun in ny, as always. arrived to gorgeous, balmy weather on tues. spent the day w/graham & fran irish pub hopping, in search of the israel-france soccer match broadcast, to no avail. we went to eat at a great little thai place in the east village called Ma'ya with my cousin & old classmate. had a cute israeli waitress who gave us a free round of shots to boot. (so many israeli's here- you hear so much Hebrew being spoken on the streets here, i always love that!).
Yesterday went for a real irish breakfast (I actually ate the black & white pudding), then was overjoyed to see that Australian Fresh (chocolatier & fresh ice cream makers from Holland) had a location across the street. Grabbed a hot chocolate (made from their chocolate ice cream) but couldn't finish it cuz was too full from breakfast. Walked to SoHo, then subway'd down to World Trade. Headed back up to Times Square, which I haven't been to since the late '80's. Walked by MTV's TRL location, saw Pamela Anderson waving from the window, promoting her new show "Stacked", and also being named the new spokesperson for MAC makeup Viva Glam. Got some Nike Shock sneakers, bought 5 new cd's from Virgin Megastore. Got back to Fran's only to find out that Digweed was doing an in-store performance at another Virgin location, so back out the door to see that. Saw several NYTA's there, but none of us won the free passes to the S&D show. :( Went for a really good Italian dinner at Sapore, then met up w/an old friend for drinks. Back to Fran's to wait on Daniela (LuNaSea) and headed to the Sullivan Room to see Adam Beyer. :eyes: That was SICK! *SOMEONE BRING THIS GUY BACK TO TORONTO!!!!!* Small venue, friendly people. Met a guy orig. from Buffalo who's been living in DC, who'd taken the bus up to see Beyer for the night. Also met Tranceaholic there. Then over to Canal Room to catch the tail end of Chus & Ceballos. Even nicer venue, got in free cuz it was late & the crowd was thin. Ran into Indy (Politicsofdancing)- totally didn't recognise her, she looked so different. Beats were fun, but called it a night at 4:15. Legs: destroyed, & head hurts!!!
Tonight: S&D @ Crobar.
