O.K so I've had my eyebrow ring for just under a year. Now the problem is that it appears as if it's starting to come up from under the skin, some people call it the piercing being rejected.
Now I was told by some people to just take the piercing out and let it heal and then get it repierced. Is that the best idea or are there any problems that could arrise from getting it repierced. Also how long does it take to heal before I can pierce it again?
Any other info is appreciated. |

Ive had 2 eyebrow rings, both of them were rejected. Ive also got a lip ring. It heeled fast is is fine- i get no problems with it. The problem with percings is that the body thinks of it as a splinter. The foregn object will be pushed out from the flesh. with large Rings gravity also has it's pulling effect on the skin & the ring will eventually come out.
I had one large ring that got 'knocked' out at a concert.
The other eyebrow ring I had was small & my skin hated it & it stayed infected. It actually had a 'surfacing' effect faster than the larger ring. blat blat blary |

Well, before two years I had my first eyebrow pierece, but I had to take it off at the end of the summer (stupid school !@#@!)
The hole itself is healed in a couple of days, and no one will notice unless looking from really closely that you had a ring.
The last summer I repierced my eyebrow again, and in 2 months im too celebrating with him a happy year :)
Don't really know what you are talking about the "skin rejecting ring", I don't see it on mine, or maybe I just didn't understood you well.
Anyways, just take it off for a week or two and repierce it.
good luck bro :D |

by skin rejecting i mean that it slowely starts to come out of your skin until eventualy it will just fall out. the layer of skin holding it in place becomes thinner and thinner until eventualy there's no skin holding it and it falls out.
so the whole closed in just a few days eh, well then maybe within about a month i can get it replaced. |

ok, now I understand.
well, didn't happend to me so far, so maybe it depends on your skin [ eh, you know what I mean :p ]
Again, the hole itself will be 'closed' in a couple of hours, after a good night sleep it'll be a bitch to enter the ring again, but you can still do it in the first couple of days if you really want to, at least that's what one of my friends did. |
