well, last time I managed to find a cheap Motel outside of the city core, some 15-20 min drive from downtown for $180 for 3 nights alltogether, but this time I'm looking for something closer. A lot closer to downtown. |

Guys, seriously, no need to get a hotel room. Check this out:
a)Come with a small suitcase or backpack that you can lock at the local bus or train station.
b)Party on Friday night for Derrick Carter or Infected Mushroom and Saturday night for Sasha & Steve Porter, so that you're up till at least 10:00AM on both nights. Go to McGill or Concordia and shower in the public bathrooms there (or if you're lucky slip into their gym and use the showers there), and sleep in the library if its raining or outside on the greenery if its nice.
No need to spend loads of money, worry about reservations and all the crap. Yes, you might look like a hobo and you won't have a room to bring back MTL hookers, but bite the bullet this one time if you can't find anything for less than 150$ a night. |

Or better yet. Check this out paesan: Go straight to a brothel after Carter/Infected, Sasha/Porter and spend the cash you would have spent on a room on a hooker in a room. You get to and sleep all in one shot. She might even be nice if you treat her right and let you use her own loofa in the shower :gsmile: |

Epi your suggestion for the alternative was awesome...ESPECIALLY the hooker part...I hope people will actually follow that sage advice...nevermind that they'll be possible targets of my molestation (haha I'll know where to find you now...:disbelief)
