heh, i accidentally hit my quick link to it and it worked...but after 30 seconds it cut out and I got 404 error.

WE'RE BACK! What happened, what we need now

Hello everyone. I appreciate all you people checking the website for updates... the streams are back, as of Wednesday morning we're only running the 192's but we hope by the afternoon to have the 128's and 32's online.
What happened?
You may have noticed ETN kept going down, the streams, website, everything (they all run from 1 main server) and lately it had gotten worse and worse... by last week the server wouldn't even run an entire DAY without locking up, so finally we had to just pull the plug... there comes a time when a struggling server is worse than no server at all, and we got there :) We're still not exactly sure what was causing the problem, theories abound but since none of the technical admins for ETN are in the same city or even the same country as the main server, it's hard to tell for sure.... anyway we tried to fix it for over a month but with no success.
How was it fixed?
It came to be decision time... do we take the station offline, format the server and rebuild HOPING that the problem would be fixed, or just buy a new server and KNOW the problem would be fixed. Levi (Junkman) stepped up and just bought the new server outright AND took the hit on overnight shipping to get us back up and running as quickly as possible. If you see him online send him a thank you because he's the main reason ETN was back so quickly and all our problems are fixed :)
What we need now
Levi paid straight out of his pocket around $2500 total for the server, shipping, and incedentals. Please remember ETN, just like Trancesphere and ETS, is 100% non profit and donation supported (and ETN is legal now in case you haven't heard) from the streams to the servers. In the past we always took up donations BEFORE buying new equipment, but this was just too important. Please help us recover some of the cost of the server by donating whatever you can afford... from 1 to 100 dollars or more, every little bit helps!
We will be modifying the "donations" page with a graph or something to show the progress towards the goal, and also we are starting up a new page... it's for single donaters of $50 or more, we will post your name or whatever you want there as a thank you for your support. We still have some other things to work on but this page will be up shortly.
BIG BIG THANKS TO EVERYBODY THAT DONATES! Unfortunately I don't have time to personally respond to every donation, but we and all the fans of ETN appreciate it very much!!
That about wraps it up, again, sorry about the downtime but it was unavoidable and I think we've come out a much better, more stable station for the future. I will go back and post torrents of shows that were missed or save them for the next episode depending on what the DJ wants to do... just keep watching the website and chat room for updates :)
