Taste over nationality my friend....But there are good canadian beers out there, but for a beer that's gonna be priced the same as a steamwhistle, I'd chose an MGD. |
Def agree with MGD over steamwhistle. I stick to Keiths or MGD at bars usually, they just go down so easily :P
Sidenote: Beer waterfalls are awesome!

I've done 4 glasses in the past, but you can only drink them to about 1/3 full, then it gets messy :| |

But the absolute best beer I've ever had is a cherry beer called bellevue kreik...Aged for 3 years in oak, has a deep brownish/pink hue, has a smooth pleasant taste with a hint of cherry and a sweet aftertaste....A 20L cylinder keg is $250....But it's worth every penny....God I love that beer.

Where can I get this beer?? |

Guinness is my favourite winter beer!! I have to say Corona with a lime, takes it in summer!:D |
Guinness FTW. Nothing beats a properly drawn pint while your sitting on a bar stool with your name on it. Norm!!! |

But Hieneken sucks. It tastes like skunk-beer unless it's fresh and from europe.
|
If I grab a Heineken it's because I want that skunky beer taste. :) |

I'm not that big of a drinker, being asian and all we don't have the necessaryt enzymes to break down 10+ beers or so |
Don't count yourself out yet. The enzyme you refer to makes some of us red within minutes of consuming alcohol, and not the ability to metabolize it. South Korea is the highest consuming nation of Scotch on a per capita basis. We're not known as the Irish of the Far East for being stubborn.
You don't want to be able to drink 10+ beers anyway unless you want a gut like Homer Simpson. Then again you probably don't want the ability to finish a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black on any given night and wake up in a ditch - or worse. Cheers.
* Edit - I wanted to confirm Koreans were the highest per capita Scotch consuming nation, but it's not - the Greeks take that honour. Apparently, South Korea is the highest spirits and total alcohol consuming nation on a per capita basis - take that Russians. If you want to check out the rankings for your ancestral homeland here's the link - http://www.morssglobalfinance.com/drinking-patterns-global-and-local/
Fortunately, or unfortunately we Canadians are nowhere to be found under any category - beer, wine, spirits, or total alcohol. But, I'm sure everyone in this thread does the country proud. Cheers. |

| i cant believe how much taste you guys have in beer...geoffb3 had a couple good choices but putting steamwhistle or corona anywhere in a "good beer" category is laughable... |
