Digital Camera: Need suggestions/help please

| I am looking to invest in a nice digital camera. My main intention for the camera is to take descent shots for when I go out to the clubs. I am also interested in the camera having a movie mode so that I can take some nice video clips as well. Something of good quality on both ends of the pictures and videos. Spending limit... well I am not looking to spend too much. I realise the more you spend (and there are REAL nice cameras out there for lots of money) the better camera you get. But Im honestly not looking to spend more then $300. Any help, sites/links, or suggestions would be great. Thanks a lot fellas. :D |

Well i have the canon ps s1 Is and it takes the best video....its a 3.2 megapixel camera...32x zoom, image stabilizer and the video it takes are 640X480 hi def and 30 fps...its cost 379 at best buy...i mean put in 100 bucks more and you cant go wrong...

| I would recomend the 4MP Nikon Coolpix 4600 (Just came out a few weeks ago). Its $199 at most places, and then you can get yourself a 512 or 1GB SD card to take long movies and lots of pictures. It does 640x480 at 15fps. |

There is no sound with the movies for that camera. :( |
