Don't step to the man unless you wanna battle, LKD. :p Talkin smack about someone elses skills only matter if you're in the circle facing him, otherwise it's a bitch move. Now although the idea of a danceathon/battle/circle whatever you wanna call it, sounds competetive the idea is to appreciate how others express themselves, while also maybe flaunting any moves you might have worked on. There's nothing wrong with that, so stop calling people out and just break into the circle and show us what you got. :)
PS. You can dance to house -- you know it, I know it. Everyone who's ever heard a house beat knows you can dance to that . Stop bustin balls n break yo self foo ! :P |

The name sounds so familiar that i'm inclined to say that I have. I'm usually horrible with first names in clubs so i tend to ask people for their TOTA handle which i can remember better from reading posts and then later learn their real names.
But hey, even if i haven't ... i'd love to jump into a circle and check out ya'all skillz !

There was a time I woulda stepped up more confidently and looked for a circle, but with little or no practise that confidence gets eroded and you don't wanna bust like crazy for the fear of looking wack.
Now, i'm at a stage where i don't care. I just go at it, half the time letting the beat dictate how i move, if it looks wack then so be it -- as long as i'm going hard that's all i give a about.
What i do know is that here are peeps in tribe TOTA who don't mess around when it comes to the floor -- these cats have skill, footwork, originality, flow and most importantly they dance with passion. It brings a smile to my face to see people lost in the music, just rockin the night away. It's not all about moves cause sometimes you see a clubber's passion for the music being translated into just 2-3 steps and it's enough to convince you that that person is truly enjoying themselves. It's not about showing people all your fancy steps, it's about loving the fact that you're owning the beat. If you dance with that confidence -- poeple pick up on it, and technical details like how intricate your steps are don't really matter that much. At least they don't to me.

PS. I got mad respect for everyone in your crew. Not only are you some of the coolest peeps i've ever had the fortune of meeting in the clubs. You all rock it HARD -- and look damn good while you're at it ! :D
I bow down to the passion exhibited by you club demons. It reminds me of a fire that burned in me a few years back. ;) |

Always bro ! It's what makes partying around familiar faces infintely better for me. Whether it's just chilling, having those club chats or breakin that bitch wide open on the floor. The entire experience is enhanced when you can look around and recognize the people you're sharing that experience with.
PS. I am overcome with PLUR...There's PLUR seeping thru my pores...I'm purring with PLUR.
