Also RE the herald sun article! I actually laughed out loud when i read that! $25 for a couple of flippers? What a bargain!! :tongue2 (WTF is a flipper anyway? :wtf: )

| wow i fell for that one bad, i just read that out to my girlfiend fully believing what i was reading, bracks is capable of some amazingly insane legislation and this really wouldnt suprise me if it had been true, just deeply infuriate me is all. i think my pulse has slowed some now. a few mins of 140bpm just then. :P |

Anyway as we all know it was an april fools joke i remember Bracks telling us in the news that banning a night or making them close early is not the way to go about it... He knows just like the rest of us that the scene will go more underground and not publicised and if "G heads" blow out... less willing to call an Ambulance or emergency service to the illegal party... thus resulting in a more ed up system than we already have.
It is all well and good to blame the rave scene but i think its also time they had a look into everything else in melbourne town. I mean ive been to bass station numerous times when theres acctually something good on there but i also have been to twister (shutup). Same venue, diff night... and i had more people offering me "flippers" there. |

I think it was only a matter of time this would have happened seeing so much of it has been in the news of late. But i dont know what to make of it yet i guess til it takes full effects then we'll be cursing. |
