Is it me or arn't they joking.... :conf:
| quote: | Are You Serious?
Yes, we are very serious. This is not a joke, even though you may have come across the program through other referring sites who perceive us as "morbid humour." The Cannibal Flesh Donor Program's purpose is just as legitimate as that of the organ donor program. Just because our organization is small right now does not mean that we are any less serious.

It has to be joking.
"Simple! When you become a flesh donor, you agree to donate your body, in the event of your death, for human consumption, thereby reducing the number of animals raised and slaughtered for food. As a direct result of this decrease in meat production, less wilderness land will be required for agriculture and more food will be available for the 6.4 billion humans on this planet." |

yeah but....
| quote: | Do You Encourage Vegetarianism?
Of course! Vegetarianism does a great deal more good than being a flesh donor alone. To put things in perspective, a single donated body doesn't even cover the animal flesh that the average North American consumes in a single year. The average Canadian or American consumes slightly more than their own body weight in animal flesh, annually. Additionally, bear in mind that the weight of a donated body does not represent the amount of usable meat, since much of that mass is the skeletal frame. Therefore, being vegetarian for just one year does a great deal more good than donating your body alone. It is for this reason that we encourage all donors to also avoid consuming animal flesh. However, this is a sacrifice that the general population has proven unwilling to make, in spite of the health benefits of a vegetarian or vegan diet. It is for this reason that anyone who is committed to reducing suffering and conserving wilderness should consider donating their body to this program, so that the generally apathetic masses don't have to make the small sacrifice of giving up meat.
