| I worked for Verizon DSL as tech support. Trust me Verizon DSL sucks!! We were giving away free months cause our service was that bad. |

but this is fios this is different from regular dsl.
fios is fiber optic system like bellsouth's ifitl. ifitl = integrated fiber in the loop, so for ifitl there was no dsl modem and same as this verizon fios. this is strictly cat5 :) |

They have been upgrading my entire neighborhood. They dug up the ground and roads everyhwere making it look like we had just been under attack and then they realized that they had done it all wrong and had to go back to the drawing board. That mistake is another reason why I will not swtich back. I'm sure that Brighthouse will do something to stay competitive. :thepirate |

right now no1 can stay competitive with the price verizon is giving for the speed, it costs verizon lots of money to install all that equipment, the only other company that has tried to do it was bellsouth but their greedy ass gave the same speed and price as regular dsl and it wasnt in enough neighborhoods so they gave up. was it mastertec that was digging up? them fuggers never get it right the first time (bellsouth hired them as well for ifitl). :(
verizon is in talks with other isp's to sell them the rights/bandwidth.. something so they offer something similar to verizon but like always it will be cheaper with the first company that originated it then the copy as far as broadband goes. |

| Hrmm thats sounds good, real good, especially if the connection was to work properly. We had the Bellsouth equivalent to this technology and the connection was nothing less than superb but as stated before no increase in speed was offered. |
