| I use waves renessance eq, and I'm very pleased with it. Super transparent, and sounds excellent. |

Waves RenEQ is nice indeed. Might wanna check out the Voxengo HarmoniEQ too which somes to be getting alot of talk.. And if your on the Mac, Hydratrone- Supposed to be the best sounding software EQ around.(http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewt...ritone&start=15)

I'm using FL and prefer using the built in "Parametic EQ".
The reason for this:
Since it's integrated and optimized for FL it barely uses CPU and don't cause any compatability issues.
FL's parametic EQ is quite powerful. I sometimes use Waves EQ for vocals when I need limiting and stuff.
If you don't use FL, Waves are a good alternative. |

:eyespop:  Waves Q10 - amazing eq tool :eyespop:
Parametric EQ is the better eq tool for any producer.
Waves has powerful manuals as well.

| corteoz: when it comes to sound quality, there should be no compromise, and using the built in eq would be a compromise of sound quality, as it would focus on cpu performance. There are ways of getting around the cpu load, using freeze, or bouncing tracks down to wave. After getting hold of waves eq, I would never dream of using the parametric eq ever again. |
