Is there any trance in Toronto ?

I would like to go see John Fleming tonight, but I have a question.
Back in October I went to see Armin Van Buren @ the government, expecting to hear trance. What I got was progressive house.
I will admit that for Progressive House, Armin is very good.
The ing thing is, I did not go to hear him spin Progressive House, but Trance, any Trance but especially epic trance.
Why the do Clubs in Toronto call the stuff they play Trance, when it is House or Progressive House? Even system calls their house "Trance".
Where in Toronto can I hear trance, like they play on etm.com? Where in Toronto can I hear DJs like DJ Irish, Ben Lost or Dan Redhill? Man, those guys play awesome epic trance.
Don't get me wrong, its not like I hate House or Progressive House. Chicks like it, and its good ing music. And if it wasn't for house there would be no trance.
But I am into Trance, melodic trance, epic trance. And Toronto does just not seem to offer it.
Does anyone know if there are any DJs who play in Toronto who play epic trance like Al Redmund?
Will John Fleming play trance or house ?

I agree but i think that the scene is a little different in Toronto than Europe for instance, but i also want svennson and gielen to come to toronto....cosmic gate would be grat as well :crazy: those are two shows i will not miss |

JOHAN ing GIELEN is playing at Replublik on Apr. 16th.
Ferry is also playing at Guv on the 16th.
I think you can count on both those DJs to play some great epic trance IMO
IN LOVE GIELEN! So sad im gonna be missing him! Hes def my 2nd favourite next to the Arminator.
Ferry is n awesome too... #4 or 5 in my books.
But go see JOHAN GIELEN... he shouldn't let you down! :disbelief |

| come to johan gielen. i strongly reccomend you dont go to guv on apr16. of course ferry will be amzing, but the only problem is you wont be able to breathe once your in that venue. youve been warned. its up to you.:toocool: |

yea i know... i mean his set in oct. was not as much uplighting trance but harder trance... i wouldnt have called it prog house

| with johan cancelled, go to guv but also consider that in the clubs there will be a ton of more bass then at home when you can hear the rest of the song clearly. Which can make a trance song sound more like progessive house. |
