Alright, so I have a Siemens SL55 with Siemens Data Suite installed on my PC. I got a data cable on ebay, which is the one below:
The cable is supposed to charge the phone and transfer data from the PC to the phone and vice versa.
The problem is, the computer doesn't find the phone when it's plugged in. I installed the drivers for the cable and the computer knows there is a cable plugged in, but can't find a phone.
Also, the phone doesn't realize there is a data cable plugged in, it doesn't even charge!
I emailed the guy who I bought it from, sent me a new one and I still have the same problem.
One thing, when I installed the driver for the cable, Windows told me that the driver hadn't passed XP testing yet, etc.
What can I do, anyone know where I can find another driver for this, I have no idea what the brand is, all it says is Made in China :conf:
Any ideas?
