the hacker, slam and anne savage all were great as well.
tachyon
went there with very little to no expectation, just to have a nice
relaxing day.. :D

i thought re-education is always worth it, so decided to go anyway even when i still feel wrecked from j00f.

got in just halfway through ben cromack's set, he was really great. the only local who i saw played on 3 decks. (not 2 decks and a CDJ, but 3 decks). wicked cutting and eq works. finished with a marco carola track which were loved by the crowd (even the jaded tech elitist in the corner who wore a 'drumcode' shirt seems to pop a smile!). thx for the tip JPL.

went to the pharmacy room to check what midro was playing these days to promote his new cd, almost half-hoping he would play the tracks on the first hard nrg 7 which are trance tracks, but i was wrong. :( whatever he played there gives me headache within 3 minutes i was there, so i went out (but not before pissing myself laughing seeing the way the kids doing their best rendition of the shuffle/running man/hat twirls or whatever they call it these days)

david caretta doesn't look like someone who play electro/tech at all. looks like he came from the 70s. was the 1st time i saw him. was running between rooms and chatting with ppl at this stage and nu nrg
was on, so got front and centre. met a couple of TAs as per usual :D
was about to do a tracklist but decided cbf and just enjoyed it. they were getting into it a whole lot more than the last time i saw them at 3D which is good. they played a harder set which is not surprising but
the kids were loving it so i guess it wasn't half bad.

then its time for the hacker. he had a big setup, mackie mixer, two drum machines, and a 303!. he played really good. played more techy than when he was with miss kittin. funny how kai tracid who supposedly play trance and acid didn't bring a 303 with him (although he did wear a shirt with 303 imprint).

kai tracid is a bit dissapointing i guess, he played more hard trance than acid. couldn't get into it so went back to see the rest of the hacker and about 1/2 hr of slam's set.

decided enough is enough as it's getting more messier towards the end because i only got 6 hrs sleep roughly for the entire weekend and went home. :toothless

Yeah I must say i had a rather fun day all round considering i felt like , but I didnt let it get me down... I would say the best set of the day would go to Nu NRG with scratch perverts a close second...
But the reason I am posting is do many people remember what tracks nu nrg was playing? or can give me a small tracklisting... I know they played connective and some common towards the end but half the set i had no idea what was been spun... only i liked it.

So if anyone remembers or knows please tell...

Cheers

After a hellraising weekend, Digital was the cherry on the cake. Seeing Kai Tracid rocking hard and harder made my whole day. I died when he dropped that track Born Blind. He's such a sweet guy and drop dead gorgeous!

:D :eyes:  ;)
