I have this problem sometimes.
when I try to edit some paragraph by adding some text, the curser "eats" the following letters of the following word (like each new letter eats one old letter to it's right)
anyone know what might be the cause of this?

Yah, its... i cant remember what its called.
Theres like a grey thing at the bottom of word, with loads of different letters, well there there is one for overtype. you doublelcick it and it shoudl turn off |

Like he said, turn overwrite off by pressing "insert"... |
