You mean like the bass in Mike koglin (talla did work on that) - Enjoy the Silence?

Yes, I mean that sound in "Enjoy the Silence" or "Innocence"!

K, (i love that sound.. sounds so great on the sub). Try mixing a sine wave from a malstrom or subtractor (for the sub) with a higher frequency saw wave from a subtractor. Eq it until you get a smooth sound like the one you're looking for and give it a very small amount of release time, as well as an attack/decay/sustain that makes the note stay the same velocity the entire time. The hardest part about that bass in reason isn't getting the bass sound itself (although you won't do as good as Talla), but rather mixing it with the kick. If you're making a breaks track it will be a lot easier, because tracks like enjoy the silence don't have bass heavy kicks like 4 on the floor tracks do.
