Presents for newborns???????????

Ok boys and girls, I've just become a Godfather to my best mates daughter. I need some advice on what to get a newborn girl as a present, I don't even know where to start. My best thought so far has been a selection of 10 decent Prog trance / trance vinyls to get her started on the path to proper music <------- now do you see why I need help deciding!!!

i have a stash of baby stuff at my house cause all my friends are having kids...
just go for the basic...clothes, toys, books
books are super cool cause then their parents can read to them, and when they are older they will see in the front cover the "to.....love your godfather" and think of you :) |

Like the innoculations idea - but a bit freaky!
I'm getting some standard stuff - some cute toy or something. Then a decent bottle of wine, which will be aged 18 years by the time shes gets to it - or as is more likely, aged about 14. |
