How do I tell the KBPS of a music video?

Hey guys, I'm wondering how I can tell how many KBPS a song is playing at during a musical video. It only says "Playing" and never tells me. I would be much obliged if I could be helped here.
On a side note, is there any way to remove the words during a music video telling the name and artist? It kind of distracts from the video.

VirtualDub allows u to view the file info (video/audio stream) of a video file.
U cant remove the text that is showing in the clip away, the only way to 'remove'(prolly place a dummy overlapping the text) it is to edit the video (video editing).
