View this Thread in Original format Mike Young Hi apoligies for this simple problem but im trying to get to grip with cubase sx 2 and im having a few problems. I need to know how to import a sample then use a piano roll to determine how it is played. Im used to using fl studio and the step sequencer / piano roll. Is there a similar feature in cubase sx 2 and if so how would i go about utilising it. Thanks in advance :) Mike :) Subtle u need a sampler to import a sample and play it using the piano roll.. its kinda annoying it doesnt have that function... but u could just import the sample straight into Cubase, and arrange it as an audio file.. atleast that is what i do... i dont use sampler..
