Danny Howells @ Monday Night Social at National
DANNY HOWELLS makes a special guest appearance at Monday Night Social at Nacional in Hollywood in support of his new release, Global Underground #027 – Miami. HOWELL’s Miami package--which is available in double-CD and triple-vinyl formats, along with a long box limited edition--was inspired by a DJ set Halloween night October 2004 at Miami’s massive club SPACE. This first CD is not so much a warm-up as the soundtrack to a party that really gets going at 8:00 AM, as inspired by his morning set--a delicious blend of oddball disco, spacey grooves and toasty deep house--from the club’s outdoor terrace. The second CD flashes back to his set from the club’s main room late into the night when Danny channeled the techno gods of Detroit and showered the crowd with enough bleeps, chugging loops, vocal chops and searing 303 lines to make one think that the Motor City itself had somehow washed ashore for a Sunshine State vacation.

Thanks for the info man I will be tuning in too.
I was in Miami on Halloween it was a great time I really like Space, however I waited for Danny to come out until 5:30am and we had to live cause gf was tired. |
