| Because I took the testing and had my G2 when I was 16 but waited and messed up on taking the finishing licensing test so I had to start all over again which is a huge pain in the ass. |

Noted. I haven't gone for my G2 road test yet so I guess I'm good. Still holdin on to my G1...haha!

u have 5 years from the day you get your G1 (not g2) to get your G lisence
so dont hold onto that g1!!! |

Really?! Uh oh. I got my G1 June/03. Goin for my G2 road test this summer. How long do you have to wait to get your G after you get ur G2? |

u gotta renew ur license every 5 years..
so if u have a G1 , within 5 years u have to take ur G2 test or take the G1 again ..
and when u get ur G2 , again within 5 years u gotta take ur G test or the G2 one again .. if u don't do this then it expires and u gotta start all over ..
once u hav ur G , u don't need to take any more tests , just renew the license at the licensing office every 5 years.. i guess unless they revoke ur license or something and require u do it all again ..
