Brizzo

reasn is more powerful imo but FL is easier to use imo
Spacey Orange
you'll find tons of threads on this in the amateur producers forum that describe various benefits and costs of each one. given that, dl a fruityloops demo and play around with both.
Earthsnail
never tried reason, but FL seems pretty easy
Sunquest
Reason owns, doesnt support VSTS
Fruity looks Fruity! , does support VSTS

up to you ;)
VSTS or no VSTS
ZuLi
imo Cubase + Midi Keyboard + VSTs = quality music production :toocool:
but if ur choosing between Reason & FL, then u should definately get Reason as it is much more powerful (as said above)....on the other hand, if u havent had any experience with producing b4, then i suggest u get FL first (as it i much more user-friendly), then when u master it (which could take more than a year) get Reason :happy2:

hope that was helpful :gsmile:

FLS is just as powerful as Reason. Just check out some tunes made by Icone, and Luke Terry (just two random names off the top of my head that use FLS).

I say try both of them out then decide.

Paul Moelands (Re:Locate, Octagen) also uses FL I think.

I'm pretty sure he does, but Any money says that both Paul and Wim have an Assload of gear in conjunction with FLstudio.. I can't see either of them getting the sounds they do otherwise.

As most people do, they don't use a lot of FL's internal plugins. They import VST's and such and just use FLS as a sequencer.

With that said, their is an internal fruity loops competition going on in the Production Studio forum. In the competition no external vst's or effects can be used. Should be interesting ;)
