This is a great time!
The venue is kickin, there is usually a few hundred thousand that visit over the weekend and a bunch of stages.
And totally free.

The lineup will be announced next week on Weds. so I'll post it here for everyone to see. :) If anyone wants to visit, message me as I might know places to stash Torontoans for the weekend.

There are also a ton of after parties/other shows in the works which I'm going to post this weekend in the Detroit area thread when I get a chance - I'll put links to them here. :) We've got a great house lineup on Friday night thus far as well as good number of shows Sunday night. The festival itself runs noon to midnight Sat, Sun, and Monday.

^^^^ Excellent. I've been waiting for the details since checking out one day of DEMF-Movement last year. Listing the afterparties would help me a lot as I have not partied in Detroit before.

And the lineup has been posted. :) You can check it out here:

http://www.fuse-indetroit.com

And it includes Richie Hawtin, Mistress Barbara, and Green Velvet thus far - the big closer has yet to be announced as well.

So c'mon down to the D and get ready to dance yer arse off - I'll be posting a sum-up of all the afterparties in the Detroit thread. And I'll keep updating it with info as the days go by.

Back to the days where they bring in the big guns!
I wonder who the last headliner will be?

Some of them that are within walking distance are:

Marriot Courtyard
Renaissance Center hotels
Ponchatrain
Holiday Inn Express
Ramada Inn on Bagley (little longer walk but doable)

Hope this helps!

Some of us midwest TA's are staying at the Days Inn downtown Detroit, its a lil over a mile from Hart Plaza where the festival is it, when I booked rooms were $65.

Anyone here going to be at Bleu for the weekend?
