The TA Brackets have been completed and I just want to say congrats to TranceVanDyk for winning the TA league.
I got 2nd, so that's not bad. Wolverine had a good run until the final game. igottaknow didn't know this time around.

The Big Ten got it's revenge this year.
Too many people write them out so quickly, especially the douchebag Dickie V "OMG THE ACC BABY!" Go to hell Dickie V.
The Big Ten is here to stay, and even teams who have been unimpressive the last few years (IU) can't be counted out in the long run. We will be back, until then Illinois, Wisonsin, and Michigan St. have proven that our conference is underrated. |

not quite...the ACC did win the title, right?

but seriously, the big ten will always be in the mix. Illinois may be losing the core of its team, but you have Ohio State and Minnesota who could also be key players next year

Believe it or not, IU is going to be a key player next year.
We started 4 freshmen this year and should have made the tournament, there were lots of redeaming qualities about us.
We still have Bracey Wright (highest scorer in Big Ten) and DJ White (Big Ten rookie of the year), we are bringing in transfer Killingsworth, plus some badass kid from Austrailia. IU will be the most tallented team in the Big Ten hands down, whether they can put it all together is another question. |

Im content with fifth place, though I was second going into the championship.
As far as the Big Ten/ACC argument, both conferences will be strong this coming year. Indiana MAYBE should have made the tournament, and Ohio State certainly would have, if not for the one-year ban. Both teams are returning most if not all of their starters, Coach Izzo always puts together a strong squad, and Illinois and Wisconsin are fast developing into perennial tournament teams. |

Indiana would have made the tournament hands down if they would have counted the charlotte win a win. Plus ty officiating at Wisonsin, not to bitch, but well im going to bitch it was one-sided as hell.
But it doesnt matter, write it up to experience, we started 4 freshmen, IU is going to be the next year.
DJ White, Bracey Wright, Killingsworth, Vaden, all are amazing ballers. |
