The Drow
At start I thought I was listening to RVDB :)
the bass is too loud.
I miss some pads in here.
nice main melody.
The sounds lacks some power...

ok ill be quite frank, heard the final version of the mix and i must say it ROCKED!

its a real treat to hear undiscovered talent and the thought they put into tracks..the melody and synths are A+! and in my opinion the bass is perfect for the way the track takes you..although its very uplifting, i feel it falls on a level where its one of the big room, high energy tracks to get the crowd pumping after an anthem :-)

I feel its very John O Callaghan/Mike Shiver-esque, and has a LOT of potential. the breakdowns are very good quality, and the buildups are even better!

if you give me a day or two ill post a bit more feedback and constructive criticism but for now at first listen, i really enjoyed it. i would definitely want to buy this track on vinyl.

Great work Alan!

Subtle
listening:

phat stuff, the snare/clap isnt quite there.. (its kinda cool too, but i would have prefered a different and more clearly clap/snare)

the effects are awesome, chants are nice, some clearer strings would be nice.. sounds a bit overproduced..

ps: this is what i thought on this listen.. ;)

Firstly, the bassline is very nice. That triangle/sine synth could have more of a smooth attack. The drum transitions seem kind of off target in the beginning, but the one at 1:30 seems to get the job done better. I think you could pronounce much more melody into those first few chords with those pads, creating more of a melodic statement, and perhaps produce them a little better. 3:10, the supersaw really dramatizes the melody, creating kind of a euphoric, accomplished kind of sound. Overall, the production is nice and crisp. Keep up the good work guys.

Great tune guys! You have developed a very clean and pro sound. Every element of the tune sounds good to me - bass and kick are good, the percs are nice and driving, and the synths sound great. I'm not too inspired by the melody to be honest, but I guess that's just my personal preference.

Keep up the good work! :)
