Getting to work will require more effort.
1) hour and half in line skate to office
2) bike to office
3) Drive and pay parking
4) Work from home

My main issue is that I have a beer event Thursday and none of the above are valid options. :(

Happily (or not) I'll have to do the 25min walk to work.
I'm lucky that way I guess, but that is annoying yes...

...and this sh1t is the reason why some of us will stick to our cars instead of TTC.

i can't be bothered to bust my balls and re-think 15 alternative strategies on how to get to downtown/school/work in case these greedy bastards decide to walk out one day. and no, I don't mind paying $1/litre of gas for this pleasure either. ;)

Here I am:tongue3 ....as of THursday nite...All I heard is that there will be a news conference at 2:30pm...The Union head said the deadline was high noon Fri but since the news conference is at 2:30 then there may be some light at the end of the rainbow...Anyway...my picket duty is Friday from noon til 6pm at the Hillcrest complex....PLEASE don't throw anything at me:nervous: ...it will hurt my feelings:sadgreen:

I think it should be an essential service like doctors or firemen.
Toronto just doesn't work without it.

The only good news is that the last time it happened it was only for 2 days.

transit is NOT essential. There are other ways of transporting yourself. it might suck, be expensive, slow and painful, but no way is transit essential.

I did have bitch, I dont know why it populated so many ***!!

Noon today is the deadline. I'm apparently not as screwed as I thought - getting to work is the only time I have to rely on the TTC pretty much, and I found out I can work from home. So I'm kinda hoping... :o
